Dubai visa information – all you need to know about it

The UAE government is said to issue many types of visas that depend on the visitor’s duration of stay, purpose of visit, and their nationality.
The citizens of the following countries do not require to arrange an advance visa and are eligible to obtain a visa upon their arrival for up to 30 days, allowing a grace period of 10 days for extension of the visa.

·         These citizens can only obtain a visa for 30 days from their first date of entry into the country with their normal passports only.
·         The citizens of these countries are also considered eligible for an extension of their visa.
·         This visa on arrival is a multi-entry visa that allows the citizen to consume the 30 days of the visa whether he/she is inside or outside the boundaries of UAE.
The citizens of these nationalities do not need any visa requirements to enter the United Arab Emirates and are authorized to obtain a visa upon arrival for a definite stay of 90 days.

·         These citizens can obtain the visa upon their arrival for a period of 90 days from their first date of entry into the country.
·         There is no extension for this visa available.
·         The eligible nationality holder can utilize the visa for 90 days and needs to be consumed within 180 days from their date of entry.

In cases where you’re required to apply for a visa prior to your arrival in the UAE, you may require a valid UAE sponsor who can apply your UAE visa on behalf of you. All you have to do is submit the required documents as per your nationality and kind of the visa.
1.       Hotels, travel agencies/tourism companies can apply for your visa on behalf of you. They can apply for a 30 or 14 days tourist visa and visit visas. In case of visit visas, these sponsors may require a local guarantor with a valid residence visa, depending upon their nationality.

2.       Other companies can only apply for a visit visa or service visas for travelers. They are not authorized to issue leisure or tourist visas.
3.       Individuals or relatives of the passenger can also apply for a visit visa, that is subject to guidelines and the profession of the individual mentioned on the UAE resident visa.
4.       In case you’re coming to UAE as an employee, then your sponsor or employer will be authorized to apply for a visa on behalf of you.
